Boarding

All Things Furry specify that all Cats entering the cattery must be vaccinated against Feline Flu and Enteritis as a minimum requirement and although not compulsory further recommend protection against Leukaemia. Evidence of vaccination must be provided. All Things Furry has the right to contact the Veterinary Practice where the cat is registered to confirm its vaccination status and can refuse to board any cat where there is a discrepancy.

All pets should be up to date with prophylactic treatments to include flea treatments and wormers prior to boarding. All Things Furry reserve the right to apply a treatment to prevent the spread of parasites to other boarders during a pet/s stay should there be concern of an infestation.

.All Things Furry must be provided with details of any Medical illnesses or Behavioural issues the pet has at the time of booking so that these can be addressed as necessary. Any medicines requiring administration must be clearly labelled and instructions provided. However, All Things Furry reserve the right to refuse to administer any treatment that poses a risk to themselves or the pet e.g. if the pet becomes aggressive.

All Things Furry provide standard commercial diets as part of the boarding fee however it is the responsibility of the owner to provide any specialist/prescription diets for their pet. No deduction for boarding will be made if owners provide their own food.

Owners are responsible for any veterinary expenses, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of All Things Furry.

All Things Furry can attend follow up Veterinary Appointments required during the pet/s stay on prior agreement. These may be subject to extra charges to cover mileage and time. Failure to disclose details of medical illnesses or behavioural issues may result in refusal to look after the pet/s on future occasions.

Owners must provide All Things Furry with the name and contact number of someone able to make a decision on their behalf in case of veterinary emergencies if they are to be unavailable themselves. All Things Furry also advise where elderly pets are concerned that a written document be provided detailing any specific wishes the owner has regarding treatment and in the event of the pets passing how the body should be disposed of, If no contact can be reached All Things Furry reserves the right to consult a Veterinary Surgeon and act in the best interests of the animal.

All Things Furry hold Public Liability Insurance however, it is strongly advised that owners also insure their pet/s with a reputable company. All Things Furry reserve the right to refuse to board or carry out pet care services if the pet has no insurance cover.

All Things Furry will do their utmost to look after the pet/s under their care to the best of their ability and in a manner reflecting that of the owner. However they cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or death to a pet during their care.

All Things Furry boarding cattery is shared with 9 Lives Rescue therefore anyone boarding their cats with us accept that there may be rescue cats in neighbouring pens.

Any cancellations at short notice (Less than 7 days before the pet/s is due to board) will incur a fee of a 3 day boarding charge relevant to the number of pets that were due to board.
Dog Walking

All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless otherwise discussed with the owner. In this instance a disclaimer will need to be signed prior to any off lead exercise taking place.

All Things Furry reserve the right to cease a walk should adverse weather conditions pose a concern to the safety of either themselves or the dog/s they are walking.
Home Pet Sitting

All Things Furry will do their utmost to ensure the security of your home whilst you are away however they cannot be held responsible for any break ins or damage caused by your pet/s.

An agreement must be reached prior to any pet sitting as to access into and out of the property including details pertaining to any key/lock etc necessary to enter the building and/ or garden. All owners must sign a key release form in advance of the pet sitting.

It is the owners responsibility to provide all items necessary to look after their pet/s in their absence. Should any purchases be required during the pet sit such as food All Things Furry will add these to the final invoice along with any receipts for the goods purchased.

All Things Furry must be given a minimum of 48hrs notice should their services no longer be required failure to do so will result in receiving an invoice for the full amount discussed at booking.
Pet Transportation

All pets to be transported must be adequately restrained. It is the owners responsibility to ensure this is done. Cats will be refused transportation without a carrier unless they are wearing a harness or another agreement has been reached. Cat baskets can be hired at an additional charge of £2.50. No responsibility will be taken should a pet escape from the vehicle.

All Things Furry are happy to transport pets to the veterinary surgery without owners on the basis that the veterinary surgery has been notified of this prior to the appointment and agreement has been reached with the vets regarding payment for any treatment the pet requires.

All Things Furry are happy for owners to accompany their pets in the taxi however they do not take any responsibility for an accident, injury or otherwise that may occur during the journey to and from the agreed destination.
Nursing Services

All Things Furry can only advise you on your pets health and will not make any diagnosis or provide veterinary treatments outside of those listed. All Things Furry is not a substitute for the Vet and strongly advise should your pet be unwell that you consult with them at the earliest opportunity.

All Things Furry reserve the right to use a muzzle or restraining aid if required for their own safety, that of the owner and the pet whilst carrying out any pet care service.

All Things Furry reserve the right to refuse to carry out any pet care service if they believe there is a danger to themselves or that of the pet.

Cage Hire

A deposit will be charged at the time of the cage hire. This will be returned at the end of the agreed loan period providing the cage is returned on time and in the same condition it left in.
